A special class of cranes especially double girder cranes are designed for extremely rugged and heavy duty applications with long working hours in steel plants.These types of cranes are used for Heavy duty applications only. Temperature above 45 °c to 60 °c. are the locations for performance of these cranes.
These cranes are comparatively rugged in design and construction and with high speed designed specially for industries with 24×7 working format.
For such industries these heavy duty cranes are an unavoidable factor as it is the heart of an efficient production department in such steel plants.
From maintenance point of view every component of such cranes can be repaired and replaced at the installed height which is a huge advantage.
Standard capacity ranges from 10 to 400 Ton depending upon customer requirements. preferred class of duty – IV as per IS:3177 or 4137(1985)/800.
